Bask is an 3D animation utilizing the particle simulation in Maya from the image sequences of the sun from image source such as NASA. The piece seeks to understand the human connection between virtual and physical realms. It is an exploration of these two points of existence from the view of its liminal space, cybernetics, and the networks that emerge from them. Bask also engages in a metaphoric relationship with physical perception, by which the sublime is framed and the viewer is invited to enter into a liminal interior within a digitally constructed realm.
