Exclusive single edition work from Gabriele GenArt. The generative technique used is called “flow field” whereby the drawing is created by letting an imaginary pen draw lines following a sequence of randomly generated directions. It’s a bit like letting a piece of wood follow the flow of a river and trace its path. By applying this construct multiple times, with the appropriate use of colours and limiting how much the pen could draw at each iteration the artist was able to obtain a highly dynamic composition where flashes of pure energy propagate in multiple directions. The different luminosities and saturations add depth, accentuate the movement and let the observer wander through its various layers.
Gabriele lives and works in London, UK. He is a self-taught generative artist and uses code to express ideas & emotions. Heavily influenced by op-art, minimalism and constructivism.More details
