We always get asked about our story, how did elementum start? It is impressive to think that elementum is the first Swiss NFT marketplace, but what is the sparkle that fuels our fire? Well, it all started in 2017, a simple and joined vision by two former colleagues working at Swisscom, the initial idea expanded into a bigger picture; depicting carefully curated historical NFTs. Our team and expertise has expanded since then, together with Tokengate we work towards making elementum the leading digital art and NFT platform worldwide.
Make sure that you right-click and save our upcoming NFT drops as it will include historical NFTs by OGs from the digital art landscape. We have the pleasure to onboard two artists on the elementum platform; pioneer of Generative Art Manfred P. Kage and GANs pioneer artist Ganbrood. Furthermore, we are thrilled to present Alexander Mordvintsev with three new works.

The VOICE GEMS project is a vibrant, unprecedented meditation highlighting the most remarkable, influential, and critically endangered voices on earth to generate digital gemstones and physical sculptures. The VOICE GEMS aims to become the world's leading curated vocal archive, capturing vocal moments and expressions to generate precious digital objects. The colours and structure of the gemstones are generated in real-time from gifted voice data and recordings. A one-of-a-kind voice piece capturing the liminal space between human connection and the vast anonymity of the internet. Synthetic Voice Gems are a VOICE GEMS collection synthesised from series of A.I. generative voices - the artificial voices used to produce the pieces are generated from a data set of 100 anonymous voices gifted to the project. The ethereal tone produced by an augmented human and machine duet. Singing phrases that have never been expressed by a human being, preserved as precious digital object.

Arguably the first art NFTs dating back to 2011. The Punycodes 2011-2017 artworks are created with emojis, ASCII art, and words encrypted in the Punycode language on the Namecoin blockchain. There is a current debate on the questions whether these are NFTs and whether they are regarded as art. Some NFT archeologists would classify them as the cave paintings of crypto art, as valuable archeological artifacts on the blockchain.
We are incredibly proud to have hosted the historical Genesis NFT drop by the legendary photography artist Heinrich Heidersberger and the Estate. Heinrich Heidersberger (1906-2006) is one of the foremost photographers. Impressed by the relevance of Heinrich Heidersberger’s work, Jean Cocteau bought a rhythmogram as a birthday present for Picasso. Heinrich Heidersberger's "Rythmogram" series seem part photography, parts sculpture, and parts architecture, they evoke a concrete sensibility that is both sensual and mathematical.
